My Approach
Healing begins with understanding
I believe that meaningful healing begins when we take the time to understand what the body—and the life surrounding it—is asking for.
Symptoms deserve attention. They can be signals of physiological changes, illness, accumulated stress, or adaptations that are no longer serving us.
But a person is never simply a collection of symptoms.
My approach to naturopathic medicine begins with listening, thoughtful clinical inquiry, and respect for the complexity of each individual's experience.
Looking Beyond the Symptom
Our health is influenced by many interconnected factors: physiology, nourishment, sleep, movement, relationships, environment, and the circumstances of our lives.
Sometimes a particular diagnosis provides important answers. Other times, understanding the patterns behind recurring symptoms requires a broader perspective.
I combine clinical assessment and evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with curiosity about how these influences interact.
The goal is not to search endlessly for something to fix, but to better understand what is happening and identify where meaningful support can begin.
Supporting the Conditions for Healing
I often return to the importance of rhythm, stability, and the body's capacity to adapt.
Sleep, nourishment, movement, restorative rest, and nervous system regulation can influence how we experience health and respond to treatment.
Yet healing is not always about doing more.
Sometimes it involves simplifying, allowing time for recovery, reconsidering expectations, or recognizing that our needs have changed.
Together, we explore what is essential, what is sustainable, and what may help create more supportive conditions for your well-being.
A Collaborative Path Forward
I see the therapeutic relationship as a partnership.
I bring my clinical training, experience, and commitment to thoughtful investigation. You bring an understanding of your own body, your history, your values, and your life.
Both matter.
My role is to help you make sense of what you're experiencing, consider your options, and find a sustainable path forward.
You don't need to do everything. You need a meaningful place to begin.
An Invitation
Whether you're navigating persistent health concerns, a changing body, or a significant transition in life, there is value in having the time and space to be heard.
My hope is that our work offers greater understanding, practical support, and renewed trust in your ability to participate meaningfully in your own care.
